NL Van de brochure van landgoed Bronbeek:
“Deze zomerlinde (Tilia platyphyllos) binnen een sierhek is geplant door luitenant–generaal b.d. Karel van der Heijden, de tweede commandant van Bronbeek, ter gelegenheid van de inhuldiging van Wilhelmina als koningin op 31 augustus 1898. De boom was erg beschadigd door granaatscherven in de Tweede Wereldoorlog en moest door een infestatie van tondelzwammen gekapt worden. Op 20 maart 2019 is op dezelfde locatie een stek van de Wilhelminalinde geplaatst. “

“This summer linden (Tilia platyphyllos) within a ornamental fence was planted by lieutenant general Karel van der Heijden, de second commander of Bronbeek, on the occasion of the inauguration of Wilhelmina as queen on August 31, 1898. The tree was badly damaged by shrapnel in World War II and had to be cut down by an infestation of tinder fungus. On March 20, 2019, a cutting of the Wilhelminalinde was placed at the same location. “
