[EN] The work of the sculptor Antti Louhisto (1918–1989) depicts the twinning relationship between Turku and Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), and the work was unveiled in 1969 in honor of the 15-year twinning of the cities. In the statue, four people hug each other as a sign of friendship. The location is a key point in the Puolalanpuisto Park. The statue can be seen everywhere from there.
[FIN] Kuvanveistäjä Antti Louhiston (1918–1989) teos kuvaa Turun ja Leningradin (nykyinen Pietari) ystävyyskaupunkisuhdetta, ja teos paljastettiin kaupunkien 15-vuotisen ystävyystoiminnan kunniaksi vuonna 1969.
Patsaassa neljä ihmistä halaa toisiaan ystävyyden merkkinä. Sijoituspaikkana on keskeinen kohta Puolalanpuistoa. Patsas näkyy sieltä kaikkialle.
