Le Carrousel Stella a été conçu sur des plans des années 30 avec des matériaux correspondants à cette époque ce qui en fait un des rares carrousel suspendu
Les façades du manège ont été créées à partir d'anciennes photos de la ville de Porto Vecchio et reproduites à l'identique ce qui en fait un carrousel unique et représentatif de la Ville.
En outre il a été ajouter entre chaque décor le blason officiel de la commune.
Il se compose de 16 sujets dont trois sauteurs.Le planché est en bois verni et les barres torsadées sont en cuivre.
Une étoile en fer forgée lumineuse située sur le mât du manège a été fabriquée par un véritable ferronnier Corse et ensuite peinte en couleur vieille or.
Stella Carousel
The Carrousel Stella was designed according to the plans of the 30's with materials corresponding to that period, which makes it one of the few suspended carousels.
The facades of the carousel were created from old photos of the city of Porto Vecchio and reproduced identically, making it a unique and representative carousel of the city.
Moreover it was added between each decoration the official coat of arms of the commune.
It is composed of 16 subjects including three jumpers.the floor is made of varnished wood and the twisted bars are made of copper.
A luminous wrought iron star located on the mast of the carousel was made by a real Corsican wrought iron worker and then painted in old gold color.

Dans la nuit de samedi à dimanche, le carrousel installé dans le centre-ville de Porto-Vecchio a été dégradé.
Les faits avaient été filmés et publiés sur les réseaux sociaux. Hier, les auteurs des faits se seraient manifestés auprès des forces de l'ordre.
Ils auraient également accepté de payer pour les dégradations commises.
Rappelons par ailleurs qu'une cagnotte Leetchi a été mise en ligne par l'association des commerçants A Rinascita, pour aider le propriétaire du carrousel.

During the night of Saturday to Sunday, the carousel installed in the city center of Porto-Vecchio was degraded.
