A military cemetery from the First World War, it is very well maintained like all the others in the region. It is important to discover these places of memory. Let us never forget these young people coming to die with us for our freedom.

"Loos (Loos-en-Gohelle) is a village north of the road from Lens to Bethune. From Lens, take the N43 towards Bethune. When arriving in Loos, turn right at the CWGC sign. The cemetery is at about 1 kilometer from the church of Loos, in the southern part of the village.

The village gave its name to the battle from September 25 to October 8, 1915, during which it was captured from the Germans by the 15th (Scottish) and 47th (London) divisions, and defended by French troops on October 8. The cemetery was inaugurated by the Canadian Corps in July 1917,

The cemetery covers an area of 11,364 square meters and is surrounded by a wall of rubble. Details of the victims: United Kingdom 2403, Canada 446, France 1, Total graves: 2,850. "
