On the Salinas promenade there is a steel sculpture almost two meters high representing a surfer heading to the sea. It has been installed on the beautiful promenade of Salinas beach, in the town hall of Castrillon, Asturias.
Its author is María García Fernández in 2019. On this beach, which is very airy, it is a destination for surfers in Asturias par excellence.
Un surfero es una persona que se dedica al deporte del surf, sobre una tabla mantener el equilibiro en la cresta de las olas. Puede ser un hobby o bien un deporte.
