Military grd equipment Cannon M1A1
[EN] Although symbolically important to Arvida's pivotal role in the war effort, this cannon was unlikely to be used to defend Arvida during World War II. It was an American-made 3.5-inch heavy high-altitude gun, and those deployed in the region were either British or Swedish-made 3.7-inch heavy guns or 40mm Bofors. Two hypotheses are possible; this may be a different gun model used by field artillery, or more likely a surplus given by the government to the Legion to adorn its terrain, as it was done a bit across Canada.
