This is the first Aldi to open in Gilbert, and it opened on
February 15, 2021. The Gilbert Aldi is the fourth location in Arizona.

Aldi is headquartered in Batavia, Illinois, and has more than 2,000 stores across 36 states. Their first US store opened in Iowa in 1976.

The Gilbert Aldi is somewhat smaller than most stores, however, offers a large selection of assorted canned products, meats and produce.


Of course, they also offer all your general merchandise items, from soups to nuts. They have weekly specials, one of the specials was bananas for 29¢ per pound.
