Construído no século XV e reformado no XVII despois dunha remodelación barroca, o pazo de Bendoña debe o seu nome a esta afamada familia nobiliaria, unha das máis destacadas do país.
A Torre do Reloxo está datada no século XVI [aínda que hai opisións que a sitúan entre o XIII e o XIV] e consta cunha planta poligonal brasonada coas armas da cidade. Como se pode apreciar, atópase pegada á Igrexa de Santiago, aínda que non forma parte da igrexa-pode ser anterior-nin-aquí está a curiosidade- do patrimonio da igrexa.
