The NATIONAL AUTOSPORT MOnuMENT is an initiative of a group of former drivers, managers and journalists. The reason was the accident of the 24-year-old, talented driver Marcel Albers. He was killed in 1992 while racing for the British Formula 3 Championship at Thruxton in England. This sad accident made the initiators realize how important it is to remember those who have written, or are still creating, Dutch motorsport history.
