Taken from the NRHP nomination form, "15. Seawall Trail (LCS no. 81230) - This 6 ft.-wide X 3360 ft.-long
asphalt pedestrian trail borders the seawall . It was originally
constructed in 1917-1919 as a paved recreational path for the patients and staff of the World War I hospital. It was altered in 1926 and
1963 with curved alignments at the parking lot and west boundary wall."
