The Ashley Wilder Dog Park is located adjacent to Knightdale Station Park. There is parking in front of the dog park area. This dog park has a section for small dogs, up to 25 lbs, and a section for larger dogs. The ground base is covered with wood chips. Within each section are trees for shading and benches. There are rocks for the dogs to climb on as well as a fire hydrant. The sections are fenced off with metal fencing. There are stations with poop bags and trash receptacles within each section. Outside of the entrance gate is a doggie water fountain for fresh water. Rules are posted near the entrance. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. On my visit the park was very neat and clean.

This dog park has two large metal enclosed areas with separate entrances. There are trees to provide shade and benches within each enclosure. There are stations in each enclosure with poop bags and trash receptacles. Just outside of the gates is a doggie fountain for fresh water.
