The Northampton Arts Council sponsored the 2021 Northampton Public Arts Festival in which 10 new painted utility boxes were create. The utility box at the intersection of New South Street and Old South Street was painted by Monica Aguilar, d.b.a. Chasing Trails Art. Using shades of blue and white she decorated the utility box with the images of roses. Some roses are blue against a white and darker blue background while other roses are white against a two shades of blue.
