According to British Listed Buildings these are late C17 or early C18 century. Constructed from timber, with 2 upright posts and 2 interlocking transverse beams with holes for limbs.
Inscription on the wall behind reads:
THE VILLAGE STOCKS
Thought to date from the late 18th century.
They formerly stood by the village well [in Well Street]
and later by the 'Hare Inn'.
Removed to this site in 1992.
