The Hawthorn Building was built in 2005 and contains offices, classrooms, a music rehearsal room, seminar rooms, a lecture hall, a food service area, and a computer center.

The exterior of the building is brick and built into that brickwork are several relief art Nittany Lions. The provided photos were taken on the South side of the building.
