This location opened in 2020, and like any other, experienced growing pains that they seem to have been addressed. Twenty-five years ago, this was "small town Texas", but today, Rockwall County continues its population explosion. This is a good easy-off, easy-on Starbucks for travelers who are making the long haul back and forth along I-30, and the service is pretty good. There are also plenty of local amenities, including a Buc-ee's.
The store itself is a little bigger than average, with some comfortable chairs down the center, and mostly table/booth seating to one side. For those who like to sit and work, there are plenty of outlets at your feet if you're sitting at one of those tables, and the wi-fi strength is pretty good. There's also a covered patio outside, cooled by fans, and there are also a few places there to plug in your gadgets: There's nothing to see in front of you for entertainment except busy traffic on the Interstate.

Review:
No complaints, I like these folks. Mrs. QDV was running an errand in Rockwall, and I braved the ongoing construction and timed my visit so that I'd have something for her when I returned to pick her up. There was a little goof on one drink that was easily corrected, and it sounds like the baristas have to deal with some real winners, given their appreciation for my being "good natured" about having them fix the problem.
