Hillcrest Cemetery is on the north edge of Florence. At the entrance in the middle of the east side, you will see a gazebo and this modest veteran's memorial.

Description of Memorial:
The memorial is a stone monument with a plaque bearing the text above and smaller brass tabs naming the many veterans honored here. Small brass emblems for the five Armed Services are also set into the stone. In front of the stone is a tall flagpole and a second monument naming the American Legion post that set this memorial.
