Dogwood Quilt Block
This quilt block is displayed in memory of Maurice and Marie (Fuchs) Landwehr. Marie learned to quilt from her mother when she was a young girl. Her passion for quilts kept her busy quilting at home and also with "The Quilters" at St. John's UCC, Bem. The Dogwood appliqué was Marie's favorite design. Each of her children and grandchildren have quilts she created just for them, so her legacy lives on. They would like to share this quilt block in memory of their parents and grandparents.

I wondered around this town. Neat waymarks, and even neater people. A great place to live.

This town had a beautification project where each business was to erect a barn quilt that was close to their heart or reflected their business. This once is on the coffee shop.
