Dosa House is one of three "House" pure vegetarian restaurants (the others are Curry House and Chaat House), all in the Overlake area of Bellevue.
Never had a dosa before? It's like an oversized savory crepe, either cooked flat or with fillings, and it comes with sauces into which bits of the dosa can be dipped. The menu also features chaat, which are Indian-style street snacks, and desi Chinese, various kinds of Indian takes on Chinese food (our family particularly likes their gobi Manchurian and the vegetarian Hakka noodles).
While the Vegetarian Resource Group has indicated that vegan meals are served here, Dosa House is vegetarian, not specifically vegan; most entrees contain butter, ghee or paneer. Vegan diners are encouraged to ask about which menu items are vegan or can be made vegan when they order.
