The town of Dover has about 365 residents, half of whom commute to work in Kingfisher or Hennessey. This lodge building located on Highway 81, just north of Redfork Drive is located in what once was the "downtown" area. The building is currently vacant, and the lodge and cafe which once occupied it are long gone. The nearest IOOF lodge is in the town of Hennessey, nine miles to the north.

This is a two-story orange brick, flat-roofed building constructed in 1938. There are three bays on the front, with a centered wood entrance. Two display windows flank the entrance on the ground level, and on the second level, there are two one-over-one double hung windows. Several boarded windows are along the side walls on the second level. On the upper wall of the facade are raised letters reading "IOOF / 1938".
