The lone Episcopal Church in Mansfield, LA, Christ Memorial was built in 1882 and dedicated to the soldiers that fought in the Battle Of Mansfield on April 8, 1864 during the American Civil War. Inside the church are two plaques on the walls on both sides of the building, with one dedicated to the Federal Soldiers, while the other plaque is dedicated to the Confederate Soldiers. There is a small chapel behind the main church building and parish hall called St. Anne's Chapel.
