F433 (DP0314) - Tahoka, TX - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Disk is set in the steps of the east side of the north entrance of the Lynn County Courthouse in Tahoka. The disk, which is well worn from years of boots but still readable, is stamped F 443 and dated 1934. There is a bit of paint around the edges but the disk itself has not been painted over.
