Situated in Brough this memorial cross was erected to commemorate the men of Brough with Elloughton and Welton who died during World War I.

Although originally erected to commemorate World War I it was later amended to include World War II.

Material used: Stone (granite, sandstone, marble, ...)

Characteristics of this cross:
The memorial is in the form of a three stepped square base surmounted by octagonal base, On top of which is a tapering shaft and cross. The shaft has a sword inscribed on it and around the cross part itself is a laurel wreath.

The base has the following inscription.
THE GREAT WAR

1914 - 1918

1939 - 1945

THEIR NAME LIVETH
FOR EVERMORE

The cross is situated on the corner of Skillings Lane and Welton Road, in a small memorial garden.
