DE: Die Stadtbahn Bochum baute für die CampusLinie genannte Linie U35 im Zeitraum zwischen 1982 und 1993 in zwei Bauabschnitten die U-Bahnanlage von Schloss Strünkede in Herne bis zur Haltestelle Waldring sowie weitere sieben oberidische Stationen nach Bochum-Hustadt. Sie führt dabei am Universitätscampus der Ruhr-Universität vorbei und erhielt daraufhin ihren Namen.

Die unterirdische Haltestelle "Oskar-Hoffmann-Straße" befindet sich an der Ecke der gleichnamigen Straße mit der Universitätsstraße, in der Berufsverkehrszeit fährt alle 3 bis 5 Minuten eine Bahn, sonst tagsüber alle 10 Minuten. An Werktagen benutzen durchschnittlich 84000 Fahrgäste die CampusLinie. Etwa 100m nördlich der Haltestelle befindet sich zudem Anschluss an die Buslinien 345, 349, 353, 356, E43 und NE8.

EN: In the period between 1982 and 1993, Bochum's Stadtbahn built the underground system from Schloss Strünkede in Herne to the Waldring stop and another seven stations on street level to Bochum-Hustadt for the U35 campus line. It runs past the university campus of the Ruhr University and was then given its name.

The underground stop "Oskar-Hoffmann-Straße" is on the corner of the street of the same name and Universitätsstraße. A train runs every 3 to 5 minutes during rush hour, otherwise every 10 minutes during the day. On working days, an average of 84,000 passengers use the CampusLinie. There is also a connection to bus routes 345, 349, 353, 356, E43 and NE8 about 100 m north of the underground stop.
