The church for this cemetery is in beautiful downtown Owensville, some 15 blocks away. Church is now a UCC church.

The cemetery still has the old sign, the church changed names, as the affiliation remain the same, but the name changed, from Evangelical, to E&R (Evangelical and Reformed) to today's United Church of Christ. The same goes for the cemetery.

Why the cemetery is so far away, I do not know. I am going to guess the old, original frame church was up here, and when the brick one built, in 1908, they moved into town.
