"The Church of the Assumption of Our Lady has been altered several times: the north nave is dated 1537 while the bell tower was built in the 17th century.

Following the poor condition of the church at the start of the twentieth century, it was decided to fundamentally change its organization. This was "turned over" by destroying the old choir to create the square. The old Romanesque portal was also removed to install the current choir.

Where the facade stood, the current brick choirs were built and instead of the old apse, the two current entrances were opened. Fortunately, we respected the bell tower capped in the 17th century with a picturesque bulbous hood."

" L'église de l'Assomption Notre Dame a été remaniée à plusieurs reprises: la nef nord est datée de 1537 alors que la tour-clocher a été édifiée au XVIIème siècle.

Suite au mauvais état de l'église au début du xxe siècle,il a été décidé de modifier profondément son organisation. Celle-ci fut "retournée" en détruisant l'ancien choeur pour y réaliser le parvis. L'ancien portail roman fut également supprimé pour y implanter le choeur actuel.

Là où s'élevait la façade, on contruisit les actuels choeurs de briques et à la place de l'ancienne abside, on ouvrit les deux entrées actuelles. Heureusement, on respecta le clocher coiffé au 17ème siècle d'un pittoresque capuchon bulbeux."
