"The Gerald Police Department would like Gerald residents to have the following information regarding the city's storm sirens:

"If the storm sirens sound continuously for 3 minutes this indicates a TORNADO WARNING

"If the storm sirens sound continuously for 1 minute this indicates SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING

"If the siren sounds 2 short tones this is the signal for ALL CLEAR

"Sirens are tested the first Monday of each month at 12:00 PM" ~ Gerald Police Department
