Smithsonian Art Inventory

"Abstract column-like piece decorated with two small openings and indented designs. The flat surface is burnished and the indented designs are reflective.

This sculpture was originally part of a fountain, replacing a previous piece. Too difficult to maintain, the fountain was removed and the sculpture was installed on a landscaped traffic island, surrounded by shrubbery. It is lighted with two footlights on either side."
