ANWB (visit link) has been placing information boards at monuments and tourist routes for around 35 years with the aim of introducing historic locations to not only visitors but also residents of the region.

ANWB Monument Plaque reads:

"Since 1486 warehouse of the monastery Albergen, because of the staple right of Zwolle for Twente agricultural products.
Later occupied by mayor Scriverius (coat of arms in gable top) and Louwerman (characteristic overhang of the Louwermansgang)."
