"Elle a subi des déprédation perpétrées par les Huguenots en 1562. la partie supérieure du clocher a disparu à ce moment. Elle a bénéficié des largesses des familles Montmorency et Caban. Elle a la forme d'une croix latine et ne possède qu'un vaisseau et un transept.

La nef est du XVe ou XVIe siècle. Elle comporte trois travées. Les bras du transept contiennent des chapelles : A gauche, la chapelle Saint-Nicolas, à droite, la chapelle de la Vierge. L'ancien chœur a été reconstruit en briques au milieu du XIXe siècle (1851). Il a alors été agrandi de deux mètres en largeur et de cinq mètres en longueur."
