A freestanding gateway arch off the northeast corner of the Shea Theater Arts Center runs parallel to Avenue A in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. It spans a sidewalk and sloped entry to a parking area paved in red bricks. The pair of cylindrical metal posts coated black suspend a two-sided sign. With its blue and yellow color theme, the northwest side has two lines of yellow text - "SHEA THEATER" above and "COLLE OPERA HOUSE" below. "AVENUE A" reads the southeast side. A circular medallion sock and buskin silhouette in black is centered at the top edge on each side. The overall dimensions are about 15 feet wide and 20 feet tall.
