A free food pantry is on the south side of Manhattan Dr., between Monterey Dr. and Yellowstone Place. It is made of wood, and is about 1 foot square. At the time of my visit, the following items were seen inside: 2 boxes of cornbread mix, a few pouches of veggie baby food, three boxes of mac and cheese, a canister of ground ginger, and a few cans of vegetables.
From the Little Free Pantry website for this location:
The Manhattan Drive LFP is one of Denton's 13+ LFPs constructed by the Argyle Young Men's Service League and is located in a northern residential part of the city. It usually contains snacks/food for children, hair/body products, hygiene needs, breakfast/dinner/snacks for adults, and seasonal items like coloring books, school supplies, blankets, gloves, or hot cocoa. See (
