DE: An der Stirnwand der Marien-Kapelle im Bedburger Stadtteil Epprath befindet sich an der Stirnwand ein großes Mosaik, welches die Erscheinung der Gottesmutter Maria bei der Seherin Marietta Becco im Jahr 1933 im belgischen Ort Banneux darstellt. Das Mosaik wurde 1965 von der Künstlerin M. Sminea Brühl Mandern geschaffen und 2008 aufwändig restauriert.
Zu sehen ist in dem dreigeteilten Mosaik vor einem nächtlichen Himmel an zentraler Stelle die stehende Gottesmutter mit Heiligenschein und weißer Bekleidung, die rechte Hand ist segnend erhoben. Maria ist einem im Gebet knieendem Mädchen (Marietta Becco) in ärmlicher Bekleidung, welches sich im rechten Panel befindet, zugewandt. Im linken Panel befindet sich ein Felsen, aus dem Wasser fließt. Umrahmt werden die drei Panels mit dem Ausspruch "Ich bin die Jungfrau der Armen – Glaubt an mich – ich werde an euch glauben – ich bin die Mutter des Erlösers – Mutter Gottes – Betet viel."

EN: On the front wall of the Marien-Chapel in the Bedburg district of Epprath there is a large mosaic on the front wall, which shows the appearance of the Virgin Mary to the seer Marietta Becco in 1933 in the Belgian town of Banneux. The mosaic was created in 1965 by the artist M. Sminea Brühl Mandern and extensively restored in 2008.
In the three-part mosaic, in front of a night sky, you can see the standing Mother of God with a halo and white clothing, the right hand is raised in a blessing. Mary is facing a girl in poor clothing (Marietta Becco) who kneels in prayer and is in the right panel. In the left panel there is a rock with water flowing out of it. The three panels are framed with the saying "I am the virgin of the poor - believe in me - I will believe in you - I am the mother of the Savior - mother of God - pray a lot."
