DE: Die Geschichte von Caster, dem heutigen Stadtteil Alt-Kaster der Stadt Bedburg, reicht bis ins Mittelalter zurück, denn erste urkundliche Erwähnungen datieren auf das Jahr 1148. Am Agatha-Tor, welches Teil der mittelalterlichen Stadtbefestigung war, wurden auf einer angebrachten Bronzetafel einige wichtige Stationen der Stadtgeschichte aufgelistet:
