View New York City's skyline -- Yonkers to the north and Manhattan to the south -- from this Sylvia and Mortimer Altneu dedicated bench situated 400 feet above the Hudson River at the Rockefeller Lookout along the Palisades Parkway in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. See New Rochelle and The Bronx in between, the Hudson River in the foreground, and a sliver of Long Island in the far distance.
The park bench consists of heavy wooden slats painted an opaque brown for the backrest and seat and a pair of metal supports which are painted black. A cast brass plaque attached in the middle of the backrest reads:
