Centurion kampvogn i Panser- og Brandbilsmuseet i Oksbøl. Kampvognen kan ses i museets udstilling. Den blev udfaset fra det danske militær i 1999. Kampvognen i udstillingen er fuldt funktionsdygtig og deltager den dag i dag i militærets opvisninger.

Centurion er en britisk produceret kampvogn, der kom frem lige efter 2. verdenskrig. Den britiske hær anvendte Centurions i Koreakrigen. Derudover har Israel moderniseret deres Centurions med bl.a. dieselmotorer og anvendt dem i diverse mellemøstkrige. Den danske hær modtog Centurion i 1953 og den var indtil 1976 Hærens primære kampvogn. I 1982 blev Centurion moderniseret med natkikkerter, infrarøde kameraer og laserafstandsmålere. I 1999 blev Centurion helt udfaset i Danmark.

English: Centurion tank in the Armored and Fire Truck Museum in Oksbøl. The tank can be seen in the museum's exhibition. It was phased out from the Danish military in 1999. The tank in the exhibition is fully functional and to this day participates in military demonstrations.

Centurion is a British-produced tank that emerged just after World War II. The British Army used the Centurions in the Korean War. In addition, Israel has modernized their Centurions with i.a. diesel engines and used them in various Middle Eastern wars. The Danish army received the Centurion in 1953 and until 1976 it was the Army's primary tank. In 1982, the Centurion was modernized with night-vision binoculars, infrared cameras and laser rangefinders. In 1999, Centurion was completely phased out in Denmark.

Location restrictions: The tank can be seen at Hærens Kampskoles Køretøjshistorisk Samling at Panser og Brandbilsmuseet i Oksbøl. Entry fee 75 kroner.
