We went to the west side of Lake Arcadia to view the ISS at the same time as our partner in Holland, Michigan. Despite expected severe storms tonight, the sky was crystal clear, a perfect night for watching the ISS. The space station was first viewed by us at 21:12:05 in the SSW, heading SE to ENE, The max was at 21:14:04, 48º, mag -3.6. The view of the ISS ended for us at 21:17:55 in the ENE. We were able to watch it pass overhead for almost six minutes.

theHostas in Michigan got clouded out, but the expected high pass for him was at 22:17:06, 54º, mag -3.7. If they had been able to see the ISS, we would have watched it together for about 4 minutes.

The distance traveled between Edmond, OK and Holland MI was 888 miles (total time between Edmond, OK max and Holland, MI max is 3 minutes and 2 seconds). 3.03 X 293 miles/minute = 888 miles.
