Ideen bag relieffet er at de rejsende langs Hærvejen skal blive interesserede i at kigge på naturen og de vilde planter, ligesom opmærksomheden er rettet mod de mange arkæologiske fund, der er gjort på denne oldtidsvej som Hærvejen er.
