CZ: Bedrich Smetana (2. brezna 1824 Litomyšl – 12. kvetna 1884 Praha) byl významným ceským hudebním skladatelem, dnes známým predevším cyklem symfonických básní Má vlast a operami Libuše a Prodaná nevesta. Jeho skladby vznikaly v období romantismu.
Pomník se nachází ve v parku u Spolecenského domu. Pískovcová busta je od sochare Aloise Sopra z roku 1959.
ENG: Bedrich Smetana (2 March 1824 Litomyšl - May 12, 1884 Prague) was a prominent Czech composer, now known primarily for his cycle of symphonic poems Má vlast (My Country) and operas Libuše and Prodaná nevesta (The Bartered Bride). His compositions were made during the Romantic period.
The monument is located in the park at the Social House. The sandstone bust is by sculptor Alois Sopra from 1959.
