Registered to* St. George's (Hyde Park) Cemetery Board.
Hyde Park's community cemetery since 1857. Before then, bodies were buried near the corner of Hyde Park Sideroad & Gainsborough Rd. In 1857 land was purchased from Hugh McBean and the bodies were re-interred in the new cemetery. An endowment fund was established in 1923 with $4000 donated for the perpetual care of the cemetery. The first Decoration service was held in 1948 and every other June since.
