The pillar is at the edge of a farm field, next to a fence that surrounds a water tower.

The fence looks relatively new and is on the side of the pillar with the flush bracket. This makes the flush bracket difficult to see, and photograph.

The Ordnance Survey now uses GPS technology to give improved accuracy and the height for this pillar has been updated.

The pillar is in good condition and on the face in front as you approach it is an Ordnance Survey plaque.
