DE: An dem Zusammenschluss der beiden Straßen Kuhgasse und "Auf der Landau" im Hürther Stadtteil Fischenich befindet sich ein denkmalgeschütztes Wegekreuz. Das Monument mit einer Gesamthöhe von etwa 2,8m befindet sich zwischen zwei Eichen, das schlichte Kreuz aus schwarzem Stein (vermutlich Basaltlava) trägt eine weiß angemalte Christusfigur. Darunter befindet sich ein Block aus ebenfalls schwarzem Stein mit einer gerundeten Nische, in der Kerzen und ein Blumengesteck untergebracht sind.
Darunter befindet sich ein weiterer Block mit einer zweiteiligen Inschrift auf der Vorderseite. Die Inschrift ist im oberen Teil mit schwarzer Farbe gut sichtbar gemacht worden, dort steht der Spruch "O, Ihr alle die Ihr auf dem Wege vorüber geht. Habet acht und schaut ob ein Schmerz sei wie mein Schmerz." Der untere Teil der Inschrift ist zu stark verwittert, um den Text zu lesen, mit viel Mühe lassen sich aber die Jahreszahlen 1868 und etwas darunter 1935 ausmachen.

EN: At the junction of the two streets Kuhgasse and "Auf der Landau" in the Hürth district of Fischenich there is a listed christian cross. The monument with a total height of about 2.8 m is located between two oaks, the simple cross made of black stone (presumably basalt lava) carries a white painted figure of Christ. Below is a block made of black stone with a rounded niche in which candles and a flower arrangement are housed.
Below is another block with a two-part inscription on the front. The inscription has been made clearly visible in the upper part with black paint, there is the saying "O, all of you who pass by on the way. Take care and see whether a pain is like my pain." The lower part of the inscription is too badly weathered to read the text, but with a lot of effort it is possible to make out the year 1868 and a little below 1935.
