Milton Park is the town's main park, it has an ornamental sunken garden, a skatepark, a small football pitch and a children's play area. It also plays host to a number of public occasions such as a music festival and carnival.

The park was originally the grounds and gardens of Milton House. In 1965 Alsager Urban District Council took over the park and the house reverted to public ownership. Until this time the gardens were bordered by an eight foot high wall which stretched from the Top Lodge to the Bottom Lodge, running along Crewe Road.

"24th September 2019
Milton Park received the Green Flag status on first application, with the award an important element of the council’s commitment to ‘quality of place’ for the region. The popular facilities in Milton Park, off Crewe Road, include a children’s play area, junior football pitch, a rose garden and ornamental lawn area. The award for this park recognises the result of a long-term programme of works carried out in partnership with the friends group and other local organisations.

The Green Flag award is given to authorities that deliver a parks service to an international standard. All parks are measured on how well they are maintained, how sustainable they are, along with their contributions to conservation and heritage." SOURCE: (visit link) (visit link)
