Ontario Department of Highways Benchmark "54", Old Hwy 7/8, Baden, ON - Canadian Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Snyder's Road, between Gingerich Road in Baden and Highland Road in Kitchener, was the original alignment of King's Highways 7 and 8 prior to a parallel bypass being constructed about 1.2 km to the south in the 1970s. As such, several Ontario Department of Highways benchmarks can be found along this original routing.

This is a weathered bronze survey monument installed into the top of a vertical concrete post approximately 40cm above ground level. The post is on the north side of Snyder's Road (Old Hwys 7/8) approximately 10m east of the corner of a chain-link fence.

The only marking visible on the monument are the clear digits "54".

There does not seem to be a listing for this benchmark in either COSINE or the NRC databases.
