"The Casa del Sol is a building located in the city of Corunna , on the street corner with Sun Avenue Pedro Barrie de la Maza , opposite the beach Orzán .
It was designed by Pedro Mariño in 1903 , and was initially dedicated to treating diseases such as tuberculosis . It is currently owned by the city of A Coruña, and is home to the city's Festival Committee.
The Casa do Sol is a 12 × 12 square meter single storey building. The facades are symmetrical and the decoration of the cornice stands out. It ends with a skylight located in the center, on which was the waiting room of the dispensary.
Initially, it was to be built between the tram depots and the Orzán car wash, but in 1905, when the building permit was granted, it was decided on its current location."
