Built in 1724, the home is located at Boston and Putnam Hill Rds. Timothy Holton was town clerk 1730-1738, town selectmen 1730, 1734 - 1737. The house is also known as Woodbury, Benjamin - Cole, Hon. Sumner House.

This house is the largest and most impressive of only three early 18th century original gambrel homes in Sutton.
