De boerderij de Krakenburg in het buurtschap Olen bij Son en Breugel is een zorgboerderij. Op de site www.krakenburg.nl vond ik deze tekst over de boerderij:
"Kinderen, jongeren en volwassenen kunnen bij ons terecht als dat even nodig is. Meestal gaat het om een vorm van autisme, ADHD, een verstandelijke beperking of een andere psychische klacht.
De zorgboerderij biedt rust, ruimte en vooral structuur in een mooie landelijke en groene omgeving. Een plek waar deelnemers zich veilig voelen, op eigen tempo leren en elkaar stimuleren zodat het mogelijk is om straks beter de weg te kunnen vinden in de grote mensenmaatschappij. Hier wordt door de begeleiding en de deelnemers dagelijks aan gewerkt bij Boerderij Krakenburg."
Volgens hun jaarverslag (https://www.kljz.nl/keurmerkregister/download/jaarverslag/567/4790) is het insectenhotel gemaakt in maart 2020 en geplaatst in april 2020. Er is duidelijk heel wat werk van gemaakt. In het insectenhotel zijn meerdere stammen met gaten, dennenappels en scherven geplaatst. Let ook op de honingraatstructuur in het midden. Er zitten ook twee 'permanente insecten' op de bloemen...
The Krakenburg farm in the hamlet of Olen near Son en Breugel is a care farm. On the site www.krakenburg.nl I found this text about the farm:
"Children, young people and adults can contact us if necessary. Usually it concerns a form of autism, ADHD, an intellectual disability or another psychological complaint.
The care farm offers peace, space and above all structure in a beautiful rural and green environment. A place where participants feel safe, learn at their own pace and stimulate each other so that it will be possible to find their way better in the large human society. The guidance and the participants work on this every day at Boerderij Krakenburg. "
According to their annual report (https://www.kljz.nl/keurmerkregister/download/jaarverslag/567/4790) the insect hotel was made in March 2020 and installed in April 2020. A lot of work has clearly been done on it. Several trunks with holes, pinecones and shards have been placed in the insect hotel. Also notice the honeycomb structure in the center. There are also two 'permanent insects' on the flowers ...
