Mount Air is a historical site of a house and final parcel of land that was once a large 1800s plantation. Along with development, Fort Belvoir also absorbed its land. The last owner died days before the house was engulfed in flames and what you see is all that remains. Within the remains is a mill stone, which probably was moved here from another location on the original plantation. You cannot access it but it sits right next to the fence so you can see the details of the stone.
