English: Munkebo hill in Munkebo on Northeast Funen is a natural center for a trip out into nature. It is the area's most visited attraction and from here there are wide views of the area, Odense fjord and Kertinge Nor.

At the top of Munkebo hill, a burial mound has been set 3500 years ago, so it testifies that the place was also attractive to the people of the area at that time. Today there is a lookout tower at the top of the mound. From here there is one of Funen's most beautiful views and you understand why Munkebo hills are such a popular destination for the trip.

There are toilet facilities on site, lunch benches and an amphitheater. In addition, in the winter of 2020, a history house has been built, which tells about the history of the hill and the recent archaeological study of the area and finds of valuable treasures and buildings from the Germanic Iron Age and Viking Age on the site.
