«La propriété compte la maison John-Egan datant de 1840 et l'ancien monastère des Pères rédemptoristes datant de 1937. En 1909, Robert W. Wright devient propriétaire de la résidence et fait construire d'immenses serres pour approvisionner son magasin de fleurs. En 1937, la propriété est vendue à la congrégation des Pères rédemptoristes qui amorce la construction d'un grand monastère attenant à la maison John-Egan.
