This statue made of granite, wants to pay tribute to the sailors of Baiona, its sculptor Manuel Quintas Vergara, (O'Ferreiro) made works to donate altruistically to the town councils. This statue is a human figure with a beard, steering a wheel, and it is next to the fish market and near the port.
